Paper Towns Book Review!

So, Paper Towns! Who doesn't love John Green's writing? I particularly loved this book because of its deep and meaningful quotes. Ever so often I have to put down the book and try to reprocess the beautiful quotes the fictional characters utter. Sometimes it's not the quotes that hit me hard in the face, it's the way John Green presents the thoughts of the characters in the most twisted way that punches me in the gut.

When Q finally found Margo, the conversation they had was the highlight of the book, to me. I read the book with a tiny tad of confusion like 'Why did Margo leave?' 'Why did she leave little unsuspecting clues instead of obvious ones?' but it all was explained at the end of the book.

This brings me to the next highlight of the book that made me fall in love with Margo - the little adventure Margo and Q went on at the middle of the night. It was all so unpredictable and exciting. If you know me, I love the thought of going on adrenaline-pumping adventures, but I've never had the chance or guts to actually do it, so this quenches my thirst for adventures, just a little bit. Gosh, the things I'd do to have a friend like Margo.

If you're looking for a book for a casual read or even a book that'll leave you with a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, Paper Towns it is.

Leave a comment down below if you'd want me to do a review of another book and I might give it a go in the future! Happy reading!

Love,

  1. Hello! I've read this book and it is honestly my favourite out of everything he has written. Q is just a little cutie. I think Radar is still my favourite though and I really love the boy who is playing him in the film!
You should keep writing and do some more book reviews!
